Avant Car is aware of the importance of your privacy, so we make every effort to protect the personal data of our users. Personal data protection clause

We are the data controller for the personal data that you provide us with this consent (name and surname, telephone number, e-mail address, address, location, etc.). Your personal data is used for the purpose of preparing a quote according to your request made via the website. Personal data will be carefully stored for the purpose for which it was collected and in accordance with the time periods specified in this Privacy Policy. If you do not allow the use of your personal data, we will unfortunately not be able to provide you with a car rental service.

 

In order to provide you with the highest possible quality of service, and inform you about our services and news from our offering (direct marketing), your email address will be included in our database of messages about the car rental service. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data for the purpose of direct marketing is our legitimate interest. The e-mail address will be stored until you send us a request to stop processing your data, and we undertake to periodically check whether there is a purpose for the processing of personal data, which means we will check whether there is a purpose every two years from the end of the calendar year in which we received your email address. The processing of personal data for the purpose of direct marketing may be terminated at any time without providing a reason. In this case, we will no longer process your personal data for this purpose. If you no longer wish to receive notifications about our services, you can cancel them at any time by sending the written message “Cancellation” to the email address: privatnost@avantcar.hr

 

We undertake not to send your personal data outside the EU or the EEA without adequate protection. Your personal data may be transferred to the United States. When sharing your personal data, we will check whether our data processors in the US are included in the EU-US Privacy Protection Program (Privacy Shield).
